What the verified tick means.
A tick on a Tarkev page means the person confirmed who they are. Here is what that covers, and what it doesn't.
What the tick covers
- What is checkedThe person's government ID and a live selfie, matched by a verification provider. It confirms that the person behind the page is who the ID says.
- What the page showsAn “Identity verified” tick next to their name. Their ID, its number and the selfie are never shown on the page.
- What it doesn't coverSkills, education and past roles. Those are shown as the person entered them, except roles marked “Work email confirmed”: the person opened a link sent to an address at that organisation's domain.
- Who can verifyAnyone on Plus, Starter or Growth. Each of those plans includes one identity check every 12 months.
How verification data is handled is set out in the privacy policy.
